I started working for CFBC: August 24, 2003

My family: My wife, Lisa, and my children, Karah (18), Dean (17), Doug (14) and Kaylee (9)

My role at CFBC: I seek to minister to adults ages 55+ through...

• personal touches in times of need
• fellowships, trips and other activities
• living out God’s Word and using it in our daily walk with Him

Personal story: Growing up in a loving Christian home I often felt God’s tug on me that I may be in fulltime ministry one day.  At a struggling point in my life, while in college, my older sister asked me what it was I really wanted to do, and my reply was, “I just want to play!”  That conversation became a point of my new career study and my opportunities to lead other people in their recreational life.  Next to my Savior and His salvation my family is the greatest joy of my life!

Favorite book of the Bible: Colossians

Recent books I’ve enjoyed: Joy That Lasts by Gary Smalley, Morning and Evening Devotional by Charles Spurgeon and Adrianisms by Joyce Rogers

Most fulfilling part of my job: Seeing someone grow closer to Christ in some way where God used me as His helper to make it so

Places of service available in my ministry: Planners, helpers and organizers in activities, fellowships and trips, as well as service helpers for older citizens who need special assistance for themselves

Spiritual gifts: Encouragement and service

My hobbies: Anything with my whole family: vacations, meals, games, sports; golf and home projects

I hope heaven includes: All the sweets we can eat!

The smartest thing I’ve ever done: Marrying Lisa!

The best way to pray for me: Pray for purity in deed and thought, creativity in serving our seniors, and unselfishness in ministry to others.
