Eyes Opened
Going on a mission trip or working at a local mission here is a great way to have your eyes opened, your faith strengthened, and your soul refreshed! Here is what some of our members have found.
Mike and Allison Amick wrote on their Christmas card about their mission trip to Guatemala. “Our week at Casa was the most enriching and enlightening experience any of us has ever had. Each day was filled with work, play, tears, laughter, and fellowship with the most wonderful children and a very loving staff."
Jim Tisdale works as a volunteer with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and had this to say, “I have seen God open doors into this inter-city area to allow the gospel to be presented on a weekly basis without restriction. We have seen hearts and lives changed as young men have given their hearts to Christ. I have been blessed by seeing God draw these young men to Him and see them come to me seeking godly direction and council. It further blesses me to see these boys return after being in college and I am able to see God working in their lives.”
