I started working for CFBC: August 1989
My family: My family: my husband, Jim, my children, Jimmy Sams III (38) and Amy Flood (35), my grandchildren, Elizabeth Flood (5), Carolyn Sams (4), Christian Flood (2), and Jonathan Sams (2)
My role at CFBC: I coordinate all programs of the church involving preschoolers. This includes Sunday School, Mission Friends, Vacation Bible School, Weekday Early Education and child care activities.
Personal story: I grew up in a Christian home and attended church from infancy. At age eleven, I accepted Christ as my Savior. Not only were my parents good Christian role models for me, but I was very much influenced by my grandmother and by other relatives who were devoted Christians.
Favorite book of the Bible: The Gospels
Recent books I’ve enjoyed: Making Children Mind Without Losing Yours by Dr. Kevin Lehman
Most fulfilling part of my job: Seeing children excited about coming to church (especially when they did not want to be left in the beginning!) and watching them as they begin to know more about God.

The smartest thing I’ve ever done: Accepting an invitation to the Junior-Senior Prom with Jim, my husband
