ABOUT TUITION AND FEES

Private lessons are offered weekly at Collierville First Baptist Church by a qualified staff of Christian instructors.  There is a nonrefundable registration fee of $10.00 for each student per semester.  Tuition is payable by the semester and the cost is $22.00 per half hour of instruction. Half of the semester fee is due on or before the first week of instruction in each semester with the balance due in thirty days.  No lessons will be given until half of the tuition is paid.  No lessons will be made up if they are missed due to late payments, and the student will be charged the full semester fee.

LATE CHARGES

A late charge of $25.00 will be assessed for all fees outstanding after the semester tuition due dates.  An additional $25.00 will be charged for each thirty day period until payment is received.  Two weeks written notice must be given to the music office before lessons are cancelled.

MISSED LESSONS & CANCELLATIONS

There will be no makeup lessons, refunds or tuition adjustment for lessons missed due to the student’s absence.  It is the student’s responsibility to notify the teacher if a lesson is to be missed for any reason.  Lessons missed due to the instructor’s absence will be either refunded by the instructor or rescheduled as mutually convenient for both parties.  Lessons will be cancelled due to inclement weather whenever the Shelby County School Board announces a countywide school system closing.

RECITALS

Recitals and performances will be determined at the discretion of the instructor.  The instructor is responsible for all scheduling of performances and recitals on the church calendar. Participants in recitals and performances may be subject to a recital fee.  In addition, instrumental and vocal students participating in recitals and performances are responsible for any accompanist fee(s).
